As Project Management Delivery Specialist, you will be responsible for the coordination and process improvement of project delivery actions in the Parks and Open Spaces division. You will facilitate process improvements, implement capital delivery quality control measures, train all staff on process requirements, and lead administrative duties for the capital team. Primary duties include:

Develop and improve capital delivery processes. Implement processes to ensure compliance to Corporate Project Management Framework (CPMF) and other capital delivery processes requirements. Train staff in delivery processes and track compliance to training requirements. Lead and support your team in their work, including coaching, workforce planning, and ensuring quality and service standards are met. Act as subject matter expert for capital delivery processes and participate in corporate teams to develop new processes.


Qualifications

A degree in Landscape Architecture or a related field and at least 5 years of experience in delivery capital projects related to parks and open spaces. A related professional designation, such as a Professional Biologist, Landscape Architect, or Project Management Professional (PMP) would be an asset. Strong communication and leadership skills, the ability to lead change, a high attention to detail, and demonstrated business acumen are needed for this role.

Workstyle

This position may be eligible to work from home for at least part of the time as one of several flexible work options available to City employees. Such arrangements are based on the operational requirements of the position and employee suitability and are subject to change based on operational needs and corporate direction.

Compensation: Pay Grade 13 $49.32 - 66.00 per hour
Days of Work: This position typically works a 5 day
work week, with 1 day off in each 3 week cycle.

Hours of work: Standard 35 hour work week
