The Role

Reporting to the Director, Planning, Real Estate & Facilities, the Project Management Analyst will support Corporate Real Estate\xe2\x80\x99s Project Delivery team to plan, manage and report IGM\xe2\x80\x99s Real Estate programs to ensure transparency and clear understanding of project schedule & budgets. As an intermediate between leadership and our broader Project Management team, you will be a subject matter expert by implementing best practices with respect to program or portfolio financials and will work directly with our extended team members (Finance and EPMO) to ensure timely project updates to help feed into portfolio-wide reporting and status updates.

Key Responsibilities:

Supports the Project Management team with the Corporate Real Estate capital planning process to determine projects lists and capital ask for following reporting year

Helps to develop capital approval request presentations and works with the Director team on the content

Responsible for and owns regular reports and helps maintain a high degree of data integrity

Supports project managers to ensure effective project management tracking and communication standards resulting in transparency of delivery progress and awareness and understanding by key stakeholders

Supports Director of Operations and Facilities Management in reporting and tracking operating and capital costs

Tracks capital budgets and forecast expenditures across projects relative to established budget controls to ensure appropriate fiscal management

Coordination and development of project/program materials in support of project status meetings, leadership committees and executive steering committees

Prepare executive level power point presentation materials as required

Build and prepare reports as required to support decision making

Diligently update and ensure currency of project schedules, and financials across IGM real estate projects relative to plan, actuals and forecasts.

Active stakeholder management with focus on building and maintaining strong relationships and ensuring expectations are understood and met

Qualifications:

Minimum of 3-5 years of industry experience in a project management environment - either working on projects as a team member in a project management support role

Working knowledge of basic financial practices

Comprehensive proficiency in MS Office applications \xe2\x80\x93 Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Project

Experience in data management and analysis to generate value-added outputs

Knowledge of and understanding of Project Management methods, practices, processes, scheduling software and SharePoint is an asset
