Position Overview
The Project Lead, Global Client Office Initiatives is a member of RGA\'s Global Accounts team with a specific focus on Client Engagement. RGA\xe2\x80\x99s Client Engagement initiative is aimed at sustaining client engagement as a competitive advantage and differentiator for RGA at the global, regional and local capacity, acting in partnership with others within RGA\xe2\x80\x99s Global Client Office and client-facing leadership across RGA. Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Global Accounts and Client Engagement, the Project Lead, Global Client Office Initiatives is responsible, as assigned, for driving progress within each Client Engagement priority, including:
  • embedding good client engagement strategies and practices within RGA\xe2\x80\x99s business units and functional teams,
  • strengthening RGA\xe2\x80\x99s global front-line community,
  • leading global initiatives to address gaps in client engagement strategy, capabilities, assets, or approaches on prioritized topics,
  • and supports the Global Accounts team to help RGA serve the complex needs of multinational Life and Health insurance companies by providing sales enablement support.

Responsibilities
  • Client Engagement: provides support to the SVP Global Accounts and Client Engagement to deliver the objectives of RGA\xe2\x80\x99s global Client Engagement initiative
    • Support embedding good client engagement strategies and practices within RGA\xe2\x80\x99s business units and functional teams
      • Engage with RGA\xe2\x80\x99s global, regional, and local teams to ensure understanding and authentic internalization of Client Engagement objectives and priorities within their teams, including co-developing action plans to address local Client Engagement priorities: taking stock of current approaches, defining local objectives, and identifying plans to address gaps, monitor progress, and reflect new insights in best practices
      • Develop and oversee strategy for knowledge management and knowledge sharing for the Client Engagement initiative
    • Strengthen RGA\xe2\x80\x99s global front-line community by co-developing strategies and best practices, and developing forums for increased connectivity amongst RGA\xe2\x80\x99s business developers
    • Lead, manage or support priority global initiatives to address gaps in client engagement strategy, capabilities, assets, or approaches on prioritized topics, for example:
      • Regulations Business Opportunities and Threats: Co-develop and participate in management processes to ensure RGA is systematic in our approach to addressing business opportunities and threats for emerging regulations.
      • Enhanced C-Suite management: review RGA\xe2\x80\x99s current strategy and positioning with C-Suite client relationships across RGA, define best practices, and partner with key stakeholders to develop and implement recommended changes in RGA\xe2\x80\x99s approach
      • Client Feedback \xe2\x80\x93 review RGA\xe2\x80\x99s needs for client feedback, assess gaps and opportunities in current approaches, and develop key stakeholder alignment for targeted recommendations
  • Global Accounts Sales Enablement
    • Enhance and deliver initiatives and processes to support client teams to execute their roles effectively
    • Point of contact for RGA\xe2\x80\x99s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) to help ensure Global Accounts best leverages capabilities and potential
  • NMG
    • Support ongoing NMG programme management to ensure RGA capitalizes on full value of data and processes.
    • Serve as primary point of contact with NMG and support and engage with RGA stakeholders
  • Other: Provide ad hoc support to the Client Engagement and Global Accounts team as necessary

Requirements
Qualifications & Experience:
  • University degree
  • 7-10 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in consulting and/or financial services industry
  • Experience with client support, sales enablement or business development
  • Relevant professional designations or progress towards (e.g. ASA, FSA, FCIA, CFA)
  • Knowledge of life insurance and life reinsurance is a decided asset
  • Advanced skills in MS office Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
