Project Details:




We are seeking a local Project HSE Advisor for our site in Central Saskatchewan. This position operates on a 7-day on, 7-day off or a 5-day on, 2-day off rotation. Please note that this is not a camp position, and you will need to arrange your own transportation to and from the site.


Responsibilities:




Reporting to the Regional HSE Manager, the Project HSE Advisor is a key member of the Project HSE Team. This role will also contribute to the development and implementation of Procon's HSE Strategy. The Project HSE Advisor on our project in Central Saskatchewan is responsible and accountable for the following:


Champion Procon's values by demonstrating commitment, integrity, and leadership. Promote a safe and healthy workplace by integrating HSE awareness into all projects, programs, and daily activities. Lead, coach, and mentor team members to achieve strong HSE performance through consistent communication, training, and support. Conduct on-site safety leadership activities, including Visible Felt Leadership interactions, task observations, and system verifications. Ensure that team members receive training and adhere to Procon's Health, Safety, and Training programs and standards. Lead incident investigations, identify corrective actions, and drive timely closure of safety-related issues through Procon's PSAFE system. Develop, implement, and continuously improve safety standards, procedures, and risk assessments to mitigate material risks and ensure compliance. Monitor and report on safety KPIs to drive accountability, recognize achievements, and ensure continual improvement. Perform safety audits, analyze trends, and communicate lessons learned across the project. Provide expert HSE guidance to project leadership, project staff, and partners. Foster a collaborative, innovative culture that encourages knowledge sharing, challenges established norms, and ensures environmental stewardship.

Qualifications / Requirements:




5 / 10 years' experience in a similar role. Demonstrated ability to manage, influence, develop and coach. Highly developed presentation, written and oral skills. Ability to develop effective professional relationships. Accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to be discreet and manage confidential information. Ability to plan own work and demonstrate good time management skills. Positive attitude and enjoys being a proactive member of a high-performing team.
