About the Role



We are seeking an experienced Project Geologist to support and lead exploration activities at our Fenelon site. Reporting to a Senior Geologist, this role is responsible for contributing to the planning, supervision, and execution of the Company's approved exploration programs, while ensuring the highest standards of safety, environmental compliance, and technical excellence.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated geologist who leads from the field, combining hands-on leadership and practical project management with a strong understanding of economic gold systems, modern drilling practices, and generative targeting techniques, to directly guide field and technical teams, drive exploration programs forward, and mentor and develop the next generation of geologists.

Wallbridge Mining Company Limited is focused on creating value through the exploration and sustainable development of gold projects in Quebec's Abitibi region while respecting the environment and communities where it operates. The Company holds a contiguous mineral property position totaling 598 km2 that extends approximately 82 km along the Detour-Fenelon gold trend. The property is host to the Company's flagship PEA stage Fenelon Gold Project, and its earlier exploration stage Martiniere Gold Project, as well as numerous greenfield gold projects.

Key Responsibilities



Plan, implement, and supervise approved exploration drilling and field programs in accordance with company policies and safety standards Oversee drilling activities, including daily supervision, end-of-hole summaries, and monitoring of drilling performance to identify and resolve issues Coordinate closely with drilling contractors, technical specialists, and site operations teams Review and verify drill shift reports and drilling invoices Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety standards and implement corrective actions as required Ensure all field activities comply with applicable laws and regulations (mining, environmental, forestry, municipal, etc.) Supervise and support geologists, technicians, and drilling personnel Contribute to the preparation of technical and statutory reports for the company and partners Conduct detailed geological interpretation and analysis to improve understanding of mineralization controls Develop geological models (lithology, structure, alteration, mineralization) at regional and deposit scales Identify, propose, and develop new exploration targets Prepare permit applications and manage renewals as required Mentor and develop Geologists to prepare them for future Project Geologist roles

Qualifications and Experience



Bachelor's degree in Geology or equivalent Minimum of 5 years of relevant exploration experience Strong experience in Archean terranes and gold systems (experience with other precious or base metal systems is an asset) Solid knowledge of exploration field methods, including mapping, sampling, core logging, and drilling programs Strong analytical, observational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work autonomously Proven ability to lead, collaborate, and communicate effectively within a team environment Strong organizational skills and ability to adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic setting Proficiency with geological and exploration software (e.g., Leapfrog, QGIS, ioGAS, acQuire) and MS Office 365 Member of the Ordre des geologues du Quebec (OGQ) or eligible for registration; P.Geo designation considered an asset Bilingual French and English strongly preferred
