Project Estimator/Manager

to join our growing team.

This is a key role for someone who takes initiative, and brings both technical skill and strong people skills to the table. You'll be responsible for estimating and managing a variety of projects across residential, commercial, municipal, and utility sectors -- from the first bid to the final invoice.

What You'll Do:

Accurately prepare cost estimates for civil construction and paving projects Manage projects from start to finish -- including bidding, scheduling, execution, and close-out Conduct site visits and attend pre-construction meetings Collaborate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to align on scope, timelines, and deliverables Monitor budgets, timelines, and project profitability with precision Ensure compliance with industry standards (MOTI, MMCD, etc.) Prepare and manage documentation: proposals, contracts, invoicing, and approvals Build and maintain trusted relationships with clients and stakeholders

What We're Looking For:

Extremely detail-oriented and analytical -- you're someone who doesn't miss a thing Minimum 2 years of experience in project estimation or management within civil construction or paving Deep understanding of earthworks, paving, underground utilities, and grading Strong working knowledge of MOTI and MMCD specs and standards Proficient in Microsoft Office and estimating software Excellent communicator -- approachable, clear, and professional Highly organized, self-motivated, and driven to deliver results Valid driver's license (required)
