Our job sites are located throughout HRM and surrounding areas, working on residential and commercial projects. What we would like you to bring to the table:

Ablilty to read and interpret building specifications, blueprints, and as-builts. Mathematical and analytical skills necessary to produce estimates on labour, equipment, and material. Thorough understanding of scope of work and what to include/exclude in bid. Assisting the Project Managers or Estimators with estimates and change order management. Create project schedules and scopes of work after estimation. Excellent time management with the ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects and requirements in order to meet deadlines. Detail oriented, accurate, and precise. Active listener with effective verbal and written communication skills. Attend project meetings or site walkthroughs. Helping to resolve technical issues as they relate to the projects. General administrative tasks. Other duties as assigned by The Company.

Qualifications:

Experience with construction estimating, one (1) year preferred. Great attitude and the ability to communicate clearly and collaboratively with clients and colleagues. Working knowledge of construction documents, drawings, specifications. A valid drivers license.
