Join us at Mapsted and be a part of the future of location technology! : As the Project Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations and successful execution of engineering projects related to our location-based products and services. This role is critical to ensuring the smooth delivery of our solutions to clients and driving operational excellence within our organization. Responsibilities: 1. Lead and manage the project engineering team, ensuring effective coordination and collaboration among team members. 2. Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of engineering projects, adhering to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards. 3. Manage the allocation and optimization of resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to ensure efficient project execution. 4. Act as the main point of contact for clients, communicating project updates, addressing concerns, and ensuring customer satisfaction. 5. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, research and development, and operations, to align project goals and deliverables. 6. Develop and implement project management processes, methodologies, and tools to streamline project execution and enhance efficiency. 7. Monitor project risks and issues, proactively identifying and implementing mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions and delays. 8. Conduct regular project status meetings, providing updates to stakeholders and ensuring transparency throughout the project lifecycle. 9. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, promoting knowledge sharing, lessons learned, and best practices within the project engineering team. 10. Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and protocols in all project activities. Qualifications: 1. Bachelor\'s degree in engineering or a related technical field. A Master\'s degree is preferred. 2. Proven experience (7+ years) in project management, preferably in the field of location-based services, geospatial technology, or related areas. 3. Strong leadership and managerial skills, with a track record of successfully leading and motivating teams to achieve project goals. 4. Extensive knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices. 5. Experience in managing complex engineering projects, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and implementation. 6. Solid understanding of location-based technologies, such as GPS, GNSS, mapping systems, and geospatial analysis. 7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. 8. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on driving results and resolving project-related challenges. 9. Proficiency in project management software and tools. 10.
