Lorneville is accepting resumes for an upcoming Project Engineer opportunity in Nanticoke, ON.

This role will support us in delivering products and services to our customers safely, efficiently, and with high quality. Working on a construction site, you will apply your technical and interpersonal skills to support other Engineers, Project Managers, Superintendents, and Trade Supervisors as needed to meet our contracted deliverables.

Skills, Knowledge, and Attributes Required

An Undergraduate Degree in Engineering is considered a strong asset (or an equivalent combination of education and experience) 5+ years of relevant experience Ability to apply the Lorneville HSE Manual in daily activities Understanding of quality assurance and quality control Can work in a high-paced, demanding environment, prioritizing and completing tasks as directed and when needed. Ability to work in a dynamic team environment. Good problem solver, methodical thinker, and good analytical skills. Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written. Has some practical experience executing construction work on piping, structural steel, tanks, and vessels. Estimating, sketching, and interpreting drawings and specifications capabilities. Ability to read and create schedules using software. Knowledge of mechanical industrial construction and maintenance work. Ability to schedule simple projects and shut down work. Ability to track milestones, manage RFI's, and develop change orders. Competent user of Microsoft Office software. Committed to learning and professional development. Ability to work inside and outside during all months of the year, climb ladders and wear Personal Protective Equipment required at job sites.
