Weishaupt Corporation, located in Mississauga, is the head office for North America, and specializes in industrial burners. Our Mississauga office has an immediate opening for a Project Engineer. The Project Engineer is responsible for reviewing project specifications and requirements, compiling Bill of Materials and closely monitoring project progresses. He/she will select components for valve trains, electrical control panels and other combustion accessories according to electrical/mechanical designs to meet customer and code requirements. He/she will review parts requirements and specifications and work with parts suppliers to ensure compatibility and suitability for applications. The successful candidate will work within an engineering group to ensure on time and smooth project fulfillment. Key Responsibilities

• Reviewing project specifications and requirements
• Creating Pick Lists (Bills of Materials) based on the electrical/ mechanical engineering drawings issued for projects.
• Working together with engineering group to ensure proper project schedules to meet customer\xe2\x80\x99s requirements.
• Monitor and follow up project progresses from start to finish.
• Ensuring proper documentation to be provided to various departments (production, QC, purchasing, administration) as well as to the customers.

Qualifications Required

• Bachelor of Engineering degree (Degree in electrical engineering or an engineering degree with excellent understanding of electrical subject, e.g.: motor protection sizing, fuse selection, etc., is preferred)
• Recent experience in combustion industry (3+ years preferred)
• Working knowledge in AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor
• Knowledge in electrical panel building process and experience in multi disciplinary industrial environments are of great advantage.
• Experience with ERP program such Sage (AccPac), SAP as well as creating Bills of Materials (BOM) is an asset.
• Diligent and detail oriented
