Your role will be to plan and support business development for the different applications of industrial and commercial projects, while also providing technical expertise inside the company.

Responsibilities
Your responsibilities as a project engineer will include:
Creating equipment installation plans for industrial and commercial projects (60% of the workload)
  • Directly contact the clients when clarifications are necessary
  • Calculate the required oxygen transfer and interpret the pond's chemical parameters
  • Research the applicable environmental regulations according to the pond's location
  • Determine the model and the number of diffusers required depending on the pond's characteristics, the environmental issues, and the equipment's specifications
  • Arrange the diffuser's location in the pond to ensure efficient water treatment
  • Create and draw customized installation plans that adhere to drawing conventions in Autocad
Offer technical support to the sales team members to ensure business development (40% of the workload)
  • Stay up to date with the evolution of government regulations and norms as well as with the ISO 9001 quality assurance norm
  • Assist the sales team throughout projects (sketches, calculations, advice)
  • Collaborate in the writing of technical articles to publish on the web
  • Explain the functioning of biological processes in water treatment
  • Document the scientific literature about the processes specific to the company's market
  • Document and edit technical and technological processes inherent in the company
  • Train the members of the sales team on scientific novelties and popularize the different concepts to them
  • Determine the test procedures applicable to private brand products
  • Prepare promotional technical documents for presentations
Profile
Here is a summary of the qualities we seek in the future project engineer.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in water, chemical, or environmental engineering (or civil engineering)
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in drawing and consulting services
  • Proficiency with the design software Autocad
  • Mastery of the English language (written and spoken) as well as of the French language (intermediate)
  • Willingness to travel 2 to 3 times per year
