As a Project Engineer, you will lead capital and investment initiatives, from defining project scope to implementation, while ensuring compliance with the SQCDEE model (Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Engagement, Environment).


You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver sustainable technical solutions and actively contribute to the operational excellence of Yoplait Liberte Canada.

RESPONSABILITIES

Project Management

Act as the lead engineer for all capital projects, overseeing all project phases: system design, cost estimation, equipment evaluation and selection, procurement, installation management and subcontractor coordination, commissioning, and performance monitoring.

Development, Innovation, and Collaboration

Develop and enhance system design and usage standards by integrating best practices and incorporating technical evaluations. Propose innovative technical solutions to achieve business objectives, with a strong focus on health and safety, quality, performance, productivity, and environmental compliance. Maintain close communication between the engineering group, plant departments (R&D, Quality, Production, Maintenance, Finance, etc.), and corporate technical teams to ensure best practices and project success.

Technical Support

Provide technical support (based on experience) to engineers, supervisors, technicians, and other plant personnel across various sites.

Profile

Bachelor's degree in engineering and active membership with the Ordre des ingenieurs du Quebec (OIQ). Over 5 years of experience in a continuous manufacturing environment. Proven experience in project management, including the execution of projects of various scales in the food industry. Strong knowledge of food industry regulatory standards (GMP, food safety, CFIA) and experience with CSA standards. Demonstrated technical leadership, adaptability, and ability to analyze and solve complex problems. Strong decision-making, communication, and teamwork skills. Experience working with plant technicians, management teams, suppliers, and external contractors or consulting firms. Good knowledge of processing and packaging systems, with a solid understanding of manufacturing, engineering, quality, and R&D fields.

A titre d'ingenieur, charge de projets, vous piloterez les initiatives d'immobilisations et d'investissements, de la definition de la portee a la mise en oeuvre, en assurant le respect du modele SQCDEE (Sante/Securite, Qualite, Cout, Delai, Engagement, Environnement).


Vous collaborerez avec des equipes multidisciplinaires pour offrir des solutions techniques durables et contribuer activement a l'excellence operationnelle de Yoplait Liberte Canada.

RESPONSABILITES

Volet Gestion de projets :

Agir comme ingenieur principal(e) pour l'ensemble des projets d'immobilisation, incluant la gestion globale du projet : conception generale des systemes, estimation des couts, l'evaluation et la selection des equipements, l'approvisionnement, la gestion de l'installation et des sous-traitants, la mise en service et suivi de performance.

Developpement, innovation et collaboration

Developper et ameliorer les standards de conception et d'utilisation des systemes en integrant les meilleures pratiques et en tenant compte des evaluations techniques. Proposer des solutions techniques innovantes pour atteindre les objectifs d'affaires, en mettant l'accent sur la sante et la securite, la qualite, la performance, la productivite et le respect de l'environnement. Maintenir une communication etroite entre le groupe d'ingenierie et les divers departements usine(s) (R&D, Qualite, Production, Maintenance, Finance etc.) et les equipes techniques corporatives afin d'assurer les meilleures pratiques et ainsi soutenir le succes des projets.

Support technique

Fournir un appui technique (selon l'experience du candidat) aux ingenieurs, superviseurs, techniciens, etc. des divers sites.

Profil recherche :

Diplome universitaire en ingenierie, membre en regle de l'Ordre des ingenieurs du Quebec (OIQ). Plus de 5 ans d'experience dans un environnement manufacturier en continu. Experience en gestion de projets, incluant la realisation de mandats de diverses envergures dans le secteur alimentaire. Maitrise des normes reglementaires du secteur alimentaire (BPF, securite alimentaire, ACIA) ainsi qu'une experience avec les normes CSA. Leadership technique demontre, grande capacite d'adaptation, et aptitude a analyser et resoudre des problemes complexes. Habiletes marquees en prise de decision, communication et collaboration. Experience de travail avec les techniciens d'usine, le personnel de direction, les fournisseurs, ainsi que dans la gestion de contracteurs et firmes de sous-traitance externes. Bonne connaissance des systemes de procedes et d'emballage, ainsi qu'une comprehension approfondie des domaines manufacturier, de l'ingenierie, de la qualite et de la R&D.
