We\'re seeking a Project/Field Engineer to help support the design and construction of a large bulk handling, storage and loading facility upgrade in the Vancouver lower mainland. As a Project Engineer you will have delivered large infrastructure projects, demonstrate strong interpersonal, planning and time management skills with the ability to work effectively with multi-disciplinary teams, including sub-consultants and contractors.

The ideal candidate will have a background in Mechanical/Civil (mechanical handling an advantage), however candidates with other backgrounds will be considered based on relevant industry experience.

You\'ll be working mainly from home (unless you prefer coming into the office) for the first 6 months managing the completion of the design, transitioning to a full-time site position in Tsawwassen. Here\'s What You\'ll Need:

• A Bachelor\'s degree in Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• At least 3-5 years or more progressive experience in design and construction or industrial and/or municipal projects.
• Sound technical knowledge and understanding of engineering principles and their application in relevant discipline.
• Experience in engineering design, overseeing multiple engineering disciplines, coordinating sub-consultants, executing plans, following procedures, development of construction documents (construction drawings, specifications, and cost estimates), and providing field services during construction.
• Proven project engineering, project management and contract management skills
• A self-starter who is organized with strong oral and written communication skills.
• Be located in Vancouver.

Ideally, Here\'s What You\'ll Also Have:

• Material handling experience.
• Membership or eligibility for membership as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) with the Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia (EGBC).
