Role: Project Engineer

Location: Bromont, QC

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
Our client, located in Bromont, manufactures aircraft engine components using manufacturing processes specialized and at the cutting edge of technology on robotic and automated platforms.

As a project engineer, you will manage technical projects in order to deliver projects automation, robotization and improvement of manufacturing processes in highly technological and varied. More specifically, you will have the following responsibilities:

\xc2\xb7 Supervise the design of automated cells;
\xc2\xb7 Develop robotic cells;
\xc2\xb7 Supervise, sign, 2D detail drawings of mechanical assemblies;
\xc2\xb7 Calculate and select the mechanical components;
\xc2\xb7 Carry out feasibility studies and develop concepts;
\xc2\xb7 Financially justify projects and supervise their installation and start-up;
\xc2\xb7 Prepare material lists and purchase requisitions. Follow up;
\xc2\xb7 Monitor assembly and testing, modify components as needed and document;
\xc2\xb7 Establish budgets and timelines.
\xc2\xb7 Inform the investment manager of the progress of the work and of any current or potential problems

\xc2\xb7 Help implement best practices within the organization;
\xc2\xb7 Participate in other team activities (risk analysis, documentation of SR&ED projects, etc.);

MAIN QUALIFICATIONS: (Education, experience, skills):
Required:
\xc2\xb7 Bachelor\'s degree in mechanical engineering or other related specialization;
\xc2\xb7 Have 3 years of experience in project management;
\xc2\xb7 Experience in the design and manufacture of machines, automated systems and robotics,
in the context of manufacturing processes;
\xc2\xb7 Demonstrate technical leadership;
\xc2\xb7 Have an excellent spirit of analysis and synthesis as well as a developed sense of organization;
\xc2\xb7 Resourceful and skilled in solving applied problems;
\xc2\xb7 Demonstrate strong communication skills, as well as initiative and good teamwork;

Will be considered an asset:
\xc2\xb7 Have experience in the aeronautical sector;
\xc2\xb7 Master the technical aspects of metrology and geometric tolerancing;
\xc2\xb7 Knowledge of Operator Interface Programming (HMI);
\xc2\xb7 Bilingualism (French and English);
\xc2\xb7 Be a member of the O.I.Q. as an engineer.
