Role:

The

Project Engineer (PE)

provides

coordination and documentation support

to engineering teams and the Senior Project Engineer.

This role ensures that:

Engineering documents, ECNs, FMIs, and deliverables are controlled and updated Meetings are documented clearly Tasks and statuses are tracked accurately Communication flows smoothly between disciplines

Tasks:

Documentation Control & Deliverables

Maintain and update engineering documentation (reports, specs, FMIs, etc.). Ensure accuracy and proper revision control of deliverables. Prepare documentation packages for internal and external reviews.

ECN (Engineering Change Notice) Processing

Administer ECNs: initiate, route, track, close. Ensure changes are correctly documented and implemented. Support configuration control efforts.

Coordination Support

Track task statuses and action items across teams. Prepare meeting minutes, summaries, checklists. Support the Senior Project Engineer in maintaining progress logs.

Requirements & Test Documentation Support

Update requirement traceability matrices as instructed. Support preparation of test documentation and reports.

Communication & Information Flow

Facilitate communication between engineering disciplines. Support data collection for schedules and reporting. Maintain organized repositories of engineering data.

Requirements:

You:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related). 2-5 years of experience in engineering coordination or support roles. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Experience with technical documentation or ECN workflows (asset). Bilingual (French and English). Ability to work with multidisciplinary teams. Asset: transit, aerospace, or electromechanical systems experience The candidate must also be willing to travel occasionally to Canada, the United States, Europe and Asia (approximately 10-15%)
