As a Project Engineer you will manage all aspects of the customer journey, from taking the initial order to post-delivery support. Success is measured by timely shipments, product quality, and the ability to be a trusted liaison, ensuring customers pleased with Husky products and service.

Areas of Accountability



Act as the central hub for communication between customers, sales, commercial management, engineering, operations, and service teams to ensure seamless project coordination. Exceed customer expectations, ensuring satisfaction with both equipment and service throughout the project lifecycle. Collaborate directly with customers and regional teams to gather essential project details, ensuring orders are technically sound, competitively priced, and thoroughly documented. Host customer and supplier visits, maintain proactive communication before, during, and after delivery, and resolve issues swiftly. Use creativity and initiative to strengthen existing relationships and cultivate new ones. Take ownership as the lead engineer for customer orders, setting schedules and delivery timelines for each item, and ensuring alignment across teams. Organize and lead kick-off meetings, document key milestones, and follow up on outstanding issues to keep projects on track. Prepare and coordinate order changes, assess their impact, and communicate effectively with the sales team to maintain delivery commitments. Ensure all technical, commercial, and project milestones are accurately recorded and accessible. Apply creativity and problem-solving within the execution phase to deliver high-quality outcomes. Contribute to broader operational initiatives as directed by the Team Leader, adding value beyond your core responsibilities.

Technical Requirements:





Engineering degree or diploma (or related field) 2-5 years in project management, engineering, or product development within industrial manufacturing (e.g., plastics processing, machine design, tooling, automation) 2-3 years in sales or direct customer support Strong attention to detail, self-motivation, customer focus, and technical/commercial aptitude Proven skills in project management, organization, leadership, communication, and presentation Knowledge of plastic injection molding or assembly/design (preferred) Proficiency in Microsoft Office Willingness to travel and provide occasional after-hours support

Personal Qualifications:






Financial acumen and experience reviewing sales contracts (preferred) Strong negotiation, facilitation, and conflict resolution skills Analytical thinking, sound judgment, and continuous improvement in mindset Ability to perform under pressure and collaborate effectively with teams and clients
