Job Description
We are hiring a Project Engineer to join a renowned mechanical company at its Boisbriand location!
Full-time. Permanent.
Responsibilities:
- Lead mechanical engineering projects;
- Supervise the technical support and production teams;
- Review customer specifications with the sales team and select appropriate components;
- Prepare material lists;
- Manage the technical part of the projects;
- Prepare various documents for the projects;
- Contact suppliers to obtain quotes for special materials;
- Provide technical advice, support and guidance to other departments;
- Support the designers;
- Test the products once installed at the clients;
- Resolve technical issues;
- Perform all other related tasks.
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or electrical engineering;
- Member of the OIIQ;
- 5 years of experience in personnel management;
- 5 years of experience on technical projects;
- Experience working with complex equipment;
- French and English bilingualism;
- Excellent customer service.
