THE ROLE:
As our
Project Development Manager
, you will be at the heart of our mission; developing dynamic, people-centered projects and securing funding to support our vision. You'll wear many hats, collaborate with an eclectic and passionate team, and bring your own ideas to life in a role where creativity is welcomed.
Project Development
Work with team members to design inclusive and accessible projects in partnership with people with lived experience.
Works with team members in areas of co-design processes, needs assessments, and stakeholder consultations.
Develop project proposals, plans, budgets, and monitoring frameworks.
Fundraising & Grant Management
Identify and pursue funding opportunities from government, philanthropic, and community sources.
Prepare high-quality grant applications, donor proposals, and impact reports.
Build and maintain strong relationships with funders and donors.
Develop and execute fundraising campaigns in collaboration with the team.
Maintain fundraising systems and donor records (experience with Customer Relationship Management tools a plus)
Work with team to coordinate innovative and effective Marketing and Social Media campaigns
Financial Oversight
Develop and manage project budgets in line with funder and organizational requirements.
Track funding use and ensure financial accountability and transparency.
Stakeholder Engagement & Advocacy
Collaborate with program staff, community partners, and people with disability/neurodivergence.
Represent the organization in networks, events, and advocacy efforts.
You Are:
Education:
A person with a Bachelor degree or combination of certification and experience in the field of Social Work, Community Development or Nonprofit Management.
Skills:
A natural collaborator with strong project coordination skills
A creative and strategic thinker who thrives outside of rigid systems
Comfortable in non-traditional work environments--flexibility is your superpower
Deeply values inclusion, accessibility, and neurodiversity
Excellent communicator--written, verbal, and visual
Confident in grant writing and building donor relationships
Proficient in social media marketing and use of organizational tools such as Google Workspace
Prior experience in the nonprofit sector, disability advocacy, or related fields is a strong asset
