Job Description

Alberco Construction is hiring a Project Coordinator for our Water and Sewer infrastructure projects in the Edmonton area.

This role is site-based. You will work closely with the Site Superintendent and Project Manager.

The ideal candidate has previous experience in the construction industry and can provide references of this.

Work Responsibilities

Review and prepare submissions of shop drawings and product information

Use of Autocad or similar software to layout survey information

Procurement of Materials required for Construction

Scheduling and coordination of subcontractors

Valid Driver's License and Transportation

Qualifications

The following qualifications are required:

Engineering or Technician background and current EIT or CET designation in Civil

Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite of Programs

Basic skills in using AutoCAD

Basic knowledge of Surveying

Strong Verbal and Written English Communication

The following will be considered an asset:

Previous experience with Surveying

Proficient use of Microsoft Project

Previous General Contractor Experience

Compensation: Rate of Pay will be commensurate with experience.
