We specialize in residential renovations and are seeking a skilled Project Estimator and Coordinator to join our dynamic team in Winnipeg, MB. We are looking for a full-time Project Estimator and Coordinator to manage project estimates and coordinate various aspects of the construction process. You will collaborate with sales and project planning teams to develop accurate project estimates and budgets, manage supplier quotes and procurement bids, and ensure all staff have relevant documentation. Professionalism, experience, punctuality, and attention to detail are paramount to the success of an eligible candidate. The workday is from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Typical Projects & Work Requirements:

• Collaborate with sales and project planning teams to develop, revise, and finalize project estimates and budgets. Collaborate during construction with the project manager on budgets and logistics.
• Obtain and assess supplier quotes and procurement bids, managing purchase orders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure all staff have relevant documentation, manage RFIs, and maintain organized project files. Assist the Project Manager with managing day-to-day activities.
• Generate and obtain client approval for change orders, revising project budgets as necessary.
• Submit and track the status of applications, and schedule inspections.
• Organize deliveries, manage warehouse inventory, and ensure adherence to timelines and deliverables.
• Stay updated on industry standards and product knowledge through regular professional development.

The Ideal Candidate Should Have:

• C.A.T (Civil Architectural Technologist) ,C.E.T (Civil Engineering Technologist) required, or equivalent experience. Interior design education or experience will also be considered.
• Proven experience in project estimation and coordination within the construction industry.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Proficiency in estimation and project management software.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Relevant certifications or degrees in construction management or related fields are preferred.

Software Knowledge:

• Familiarity or proficiency with take-off software.
• Familiarity or proficiency with project management software.
