We are currently looking to hire a Project Coordinator. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to learn all aspects of project management.

Key Responsibilities

Assist on managing civil and commercial projects involving asphalt and concrete. Communicate with suppliers, trades and clients regarding project needs. Perform quantity takeoff, prepare project documents, & gather necessary info. Organize subtrade work, attend site meetings and inspections, manage change order and force account documentation. Prepare bid packages, including but not limited to filling out tender forms and prices, making construction schedules, obtaining the required documents, and staying updated with project files. Compile pre-qualification packages. Assist in preparing progress billings, obtain change order approval, and ensure client approval. Provide internal QC, including specification testing, site imaging, job progression logs. Capture site photos for QC, Marketing, and Promotion. Perform any additional duties as required to support project objectives effectively.

Education, Training, Diplomas and Certifications

Class 5 Driver's License is required. Civil Engineering related background is preferred.

Technical Skills

Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications. Knowledge of construction equipment, materials, and processes. Prior work in QC environment would be a strong asset. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (excel, word, etc.). High level of time management, independent judgment, and reasoning. Proficiency in AutoCAD, PlanSwift and Bluebeam would be an asset.
