Job Description

Job Summary:

An exciting opportunity to join the Combina Global team as Project Coordinator/Estimator supporting end-to-end project delivery by preparing accurate tenders, performing detailed quantity take-offs, and assisting in budget development across multiple interior finishings product categories. You will collaborate with internal teams to ensure pricing competitiveness and provide ongoing support to Project Managers through bid submissions, change orders, and cost control measures.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze project specifications and drawings to prepare accurate and competitive tenders. Proactively identify and recommend opportunities for a comprehensive range of products, such as window coverings, flooring, and plumbing fixtures. Review shop drawings and perform detailed quantity take-offs for scopes inclusive of the products provided within Combina Global to support labour cost estimates. Organize and evaluate drawing and specification details to support project planning and execution. Assist in the development of project budgets for review by Project Managers and the Management Team. Prepare bid proposals in accordance with company standards and templates. Follow up with clients on submitted tenders and respond to inquiries as required. Ensure project data is accurately maintained and updated within Procore project management software. Provide general support to Project Managers throughout the project lifecycle. Analyze cost revisions as needed to ensure project margins are maintained. Collaborate with Supply Chain and Operations team to ensure pricing is relevant and competitive. Assist in the preparation and management of change orders, ensuring timely client approval. Monitor quality control issues related to product and installation, ensuring all concerns are documented and addressed to prevent recurrence. In collaboration with Operations and Project Managers, review and manage service requests to ensure timely resolution of warrantable defects for clients.
Qualifications:

Diploma or degree or equivalent experience in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field Minimum 3-5 years of experience in construction estimating and/or project coordination (subcontractor or general contractor side) Familiarity with local building codes, industry standards, and permit processes Proficiency in Procore, Construction Management Solution software is an asset Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite is required Experience working with construction trades, vendors, and site teams Excellent organizational and time management skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients, suppliers, and trade partners Detail oriented with a proactive, problem-solving mindset Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $60,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
