Hours of Work: 32 hours per week; Monday through Thursday; 7:00 p.m.- 3 a.m. (Flexibility for weekend emergency coverage (Friday-Sunday) required)

Compensation: $33.77/hr

About the Job:
Reporting to the Director , Non-residential, the Project Coordinator will be responsible for the overall planning, implementation, and day-to-day management of the temporary winter shelter. This role ensures the shelter operates safely, efficiently, and in alignment with organizational policies and community standards, providing support to individuals experiencing homelessness during the winter months.
Additional Requisites/Assets:
Bachelors or above degree
2 (Two) years recent related experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
Experience in program or project management, preferably in social services or community outreach.
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Data entry skills is required
Knowledge of trauma-informed care, harm reduction, and culturally safe practices.
Ability to manage staff, volunteers, and complex logistics under pressure.
Crisis management and conflict resolution experience is an asset.
Class 5 Driver's License is required
WHMIS is required
Emergency First Aid and CPR Level C is required
Non-Violent Crisis Intervention certificate is required
Covid-19 (Including Booster) and annual flu vaccinations are recommended
