Responsibilities
:
Coordinate various steps and functions of the project from initiation to completion, ensuring seamless execution according to schedule, specifications, and budget.
Prepare and analyze construction project estimates, shop drawings, and schedules using architectural drawings and hardware detailing per specifications.
Manage logistics of moving goods from vendor to customer and oversee material and quantity take-offs.
Maintain ongoing communication with project managers, site superintendents, and other stakeholders to ensure project alignment and coordination.
Create, process, and manage project documentation, change orders, technical drawings, and progress claims.
Liaise with departments like procurement, manufacturing, and installation to ensure timely delivery and project feasibility.
Provide exceptional customer service, address inquiries, and maintain product and project-related communications.
Draft or revise shop drawings as needed, utilizing CAD software and company databases.
Monitor progress against construction schedules and update project stakeholders as necessary.
Adhere to all safety policies and procedures, identifying and reporting unsafe work practices or conditions.
Your Skills:
Diploma in Construction Technology, Architectural Technology or equivalent.
1-2 years of construction project coordination experience.
Proven understanding and/ or experience of project work and industry requirements on Division 8/hardware products is an asset.
Professional certifications such as Door + Hardware Technician (DHT), Door + Hardware Consultant (DHC), Architectural Hardware Consultant (AHC), Certified Door Consultant (CDC), or Supply Chain Management Professional (SCMP) are assets.
Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and ERP systems.
