We are currently seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, values collaboration, and is looking to develop their career in construction project management.

Role Overview



The Project Coordinator will play a pivotal role in supporting our Project Managers and Site Supervisors in the planning, execution, and close-out of construction projects. The successful candidate will ensure project documentation, coordination, and communications are accurate, timely, and aligned with Canotech's standards of excellence.

Key Responsibilities



Assist Project Managers with the preparation and administration of contracts, schedules, and budgets. Coordinate with subcontractors, consultants, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services. Prepare, issue, and track Requests for Information (RFIs), submittals, and shop drawings. Maintain and update project documentation, including meeting minutes, change orders, and progress reports. Support project planning and scheduling efforts; monitor timelines to ensure milestones are met. Participate in site meetings, ensuring accurate documentation and follow-up on action items. Assist in quality control tracking, deficiency management, and project close-out documentation. Promote and uphold Canotech's values of safety, collaboration, and innovation throughout project delivery.

Qualifications & Skills



Experience:

2-4 years of experience in a Project Coordinator or similar role in the construction industry.

Education:

Post-secondary education in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field. Advanced certifications (e.g., PMP, LEED AP) are a plus.

Communication:

Strong organizational and communication skills with keen attention to detail.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency with construction management software (Procore, MS Project, or similar), MS Office Suite, and digital document control systems.

Knowledge:

Understanding of CCDC contract forms, project scheduling, and construction documentation workflows.

Teamwork:

Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple priorities.

Problem-Solving:

Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
