Job Description


ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIESOur Client leads the planning and coordinates the integration of patient-centered clinical and preventive health services across the region. The organization also delivers some province-wide health services and supports centralized administrative and business functions for regional health organizations.The Process Improvement Office (PIO) supports the Ministry of Health by streamlining processes and improving efficiencies in health systems across the region. The PIO works collaboratively with the Department and Service Delivery Organizations as well as educational institutions and clinical experts to ensure healthcare resource needs and priority initiatives are supported.To be successful, the PIO requires proven project and healthcare leadership with broad jurisdictional experience across multiple areas of clinical delivery and business functions to drive strategic and sustainable outcomes, enable the work of partner service delivery organizations, and provide centralized project functions.QUALIFICATIONS

  • Project management training. Proof of training shall be provided with the response.
  • Microsoft Office certification. Proof of the certification shall be provided with the response.
  • 10 years experience providing administrative support to projects in a healthcare environment.
  • 10 years experience providing administrative support to executives, boards or committees, including calendar management, document management, presentation development.
  • 5 years experience providing orientation and training to new employees and contractors.
  • 5 years experience maintaining organizational and project databases, including prenatal health nutrition program evaluation and other programs to improve health outcomes.
  • 5 years experience providing project management support including scope, budget, schedule and risk management.
  • 10 years experience providing stakeholder engagement, including developing and delivering surveys, focus groups and working with marginalized populations.
  • 2 years experience maintaining organizational or project social media and website.
  • 3 years experience providing administrative support in economic development, health and training environments, including midwife education in rural environments.
