Project Coordinator
, you'll be the engine that keeps our projects moving. You'll work closely with Project Managers, Site Supervisors, and trade partners to ensure seamless coordination and execution. What You'll Do
Coordinate project documentation: meeting minutes, change orders, site instructions, owner's instructions, shop drawings, drawing logs, and draft progress claims.
Support sustainability requirements: LEED, waste management, erosion and sediment control, and materials testing.
Set up and maintain project reporting procedures: cost reports, project status reports, and document control systems.
Maintain accurate logs (RFIs, vendor/subcontractor, purchase orders, owner directives) and track responses.
Assist in managing trade contractor meetings, RFIs, invoices, and document control.
Handle project administration: payroll, timekeeping, labour/equipment coding, purchase orders, and safety reporting.
Review construction plans for compliance with codes and regulations.
Read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and shop drawings.
Qualifications
2+ years
of experience as a Project Coordinator in construction.
Diploma or degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (BCIT, UBC, or equivalent).
Strong knowledge of construction trades, safety, and techniques.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Adobe/Bluebeam Revu.
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and field drawings.
Knowledge of local, provincial, and federal workplace compliance regulations.
A collaborative, confident communicator who thrives in a team-focused environment.
A self-starter with the drive to go above and beyond--this role is for builders who want to grow into leaders.
Flexibility to travel to project sites as required.
