ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

Our client is currently seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join their team in a Project Coordinator role. ABOUT THE POSITION

As a Project Coordinator, you will play a key role in the successful execution of construction projects from start to finish. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with project planning, scheduling, and budgeting
  • Coordinating with project stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials and services
  • Reviewing and approving project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and change orders
  • Conducting site inspections and identifying issues that require attention
  • Maintaining accurate records of project progress and communicating updates to relevant parties
  • Ensuring compliance with all applicable safety regulations and guidelines
  • Managing subcontractors and ensuring that they meet project requirements
  • Providing general administrative support to the project team as needed.
To be successful in this role, you should have a strong understanding of construction processes and terminology, as well as excellent communication and organizational skills. You should also be able to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. A degree or diploma in construction management or a related field is preferred, but not required.

THE REQUIREMENTS
  • 1-3 years working for a mechanical construction company or relevant experience.
  • Clean drivers license
  • Knowledge of CAD and Revit a strong asset
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Project and Microsoft Planner
  • Proficient using MS Office Suite, Adobe and Bluebeam
COMPENSATION
  • $75,000 \xe2\x80\x93 $90,000
  • 2-3 weeks vacation
  • Dental and health 100% covered by employer.
  • Free parking
  • Gas mileage covered for site visits
