Position: Project Coordinator


Location: Onsite at EGATE Networks, 85 Curlew Drive, Toronto, M3A 2P8


Reports To: Manager, Customer Care

Scope of Position



Reporting to the Manager of Customer Care, the Project Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the planning and execution of network and related projects. This includes managing schedules, identifying required facilities, allocating resources, and facilitating effective communication between internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities involve breaking down projects into actionable steps, tracking progress, identifying and mitigating risks, managing budgets, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to EGATE quality standards.

Strong communication and organizational skills are essential. Most importantly, we're looking for a proactive and adaptable individual who thrives in dynamic environments and approaches challenges with a solutions-oriented mindset.

Key Responsibilities



Project Planning:



Assist in defining project scope, objectives, and actionable steps.

Schedule Management:



Develop, maintain, and track project timelines, assign tasks, and ensure work is completed on schedule.

Resource & Budget Management:



Help allocate resources, monitor project expenditures, and assist with procurement activities.

Team & Vendor Coordination:



Coordinate tasks and communication between internal teams and external vendors.

Communication & Reporting:



Act as a point of contact for project status updates, prepare project reports for stakeholders, and facilitate proactive communication between all participants.

Risk & Issue Management:



Monitor project progress, identify potential issues and risks, and work with project managers to find solutions and eliminate blockers.

Quality Assurance:



Ensure project deliverables comply with EGATE quality standards.

Documentation:



Maintain organized project documentation, including plans, reports, quotes, and purchase orders.

Requirements:



Minimum 2 years of project planning and project management experience. Strong organizational and multitasking skills to manage schedules and priorities. Advanced Excel skills, including data analysis, complex formulas (lookup and aggregation), pivot tables, and the creation of dashboards and charts for reporting. Clear, professional communication skills for team, vendor, and stakeholder coordination. Proficiency with project management tools and standard methodologies for planning, scheduling, tracking, and reporting. Ability to monitor progress, flag risks, and collaborate support to resolve issues. Experience assisting with budgets, resource allocation, and procurement activities. Detail-oriented with strong documentation and reporting skills. Strong attention to detail to maintain accurate project documentation and reporting. Awareness of quality standards to ensure deliverables meet expectations. Understanding of quality assurance principles to ensure deliverables meet EGATE standards. Familiarity with telecom infrastructure and technologies is an asset.
