Who are we looking for:





We are looking for an experienced

Project Coordinator

who can coordinate projects according to competing priorities and project plans. This position prepares schedules, collaborates with various stakeholders, and coordinates documentation for construction projects.

What you will be doing?




Daily labour scheduling (communicating and coordinating with Sales Reps/NSA Managers, customer site contacts/Site Superintendents, and field crew workers) Coordinate scheduling for the worksite collaborating with customers and Crew Superintendents Assist with project planning, progress monitoring, and cost control Ensure completion of job pre-qualification documents and liase with finance team on new account creation Obtain Certificates of Insurance (COIs) and Workers Compensation Clearances when requested Obtain information as required to support estimator's bid and quotation process Prepare project permits (Swing Stage, sidewalk, etc.) Assist with the identification and resolution of field technical issues Ensure completion of daily field safety inspections and other required safety documents Communicate changes in schedule with both the customer and Northstar team members Prepare reports related to specific sites including but not limited to site safety documents, Indigenous Equity Report, etc. Manage the teams daily Google calendar Set-up and maintain record keeping/ project files Act as an ambassador for the various safety campaigns Participate in and coordinate project meetings as required



What qualifications, skills and abilities are

required?




Previous project management experience (preferable within the construction industry) Highschool diploma required, college diploma or university degree preferred Ability to manage multiple projects with various stakeholders Excellent organizational, time management, and attention to detail Knowledge of fall arrest and fall protection practices Basic knowledge and use of computer software: email, spreadsheets, and MS Office Capable of managing conflicting schedules and aligning to deliver results Effective verbal and written communication skills Collaborate effectively with crew members, architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors and other trades Ability to take initiative and work with minimal supervision under tight time constraints Work is performed in both indoor and outdoor environments where temperatures will range throughout the various seasons with exposure to cold and hot temperatures Typically works in an office setting with adequate lighting and ventilation and provided with a normal range of room temperature and noise level Minimal physical effort required. Work is mostly sedentary but can require walking, standing, bending, reaching, lifting, or carrying objects that typically weigh less than 10lbs. Frequent viewing of a computer screen and the use of hands and fingers to type on a keyboard and open documents. Frequent volume of work and deadlines that could impose mental strain and require focus on a routine basis. Work assignments are diversified. Frequent focus required to complete analysis and resolve unique problems. Recollection of past precedent may be required to resolve work problems.
