Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented
Project Coordinator
to support our project management team. This role plays a key part in ensuring our projects stay on track--from planning to execution--by assisting with coordination between field crews, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal staff. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has a strong background in construction or estimating, and is comfortable wearing multiple hats both in the office and on-site.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist Project Managers with day-to-day coordination of active construction projects
Track project progress, schedules, and deliverables
Help prepare estimates, budgets, and tender submissions
Support procurement by coordinating materials, equipment orders, and deliveries
Conduct job site visits and help ensure quality control standards are met
Maintain up-to-date records, reports, and documentation across project phases
Communicate effectively with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams
Assist with safety documentation, permitting, and municipal inspections
Provide administrative support including meeting minutes, scheduling, and data entry
Qualifications:
3-5 years of experience in construction coordination, estimating, or project administration
Solid understanding of residential or modular construction processes
Familiarity with project management tools, spreadsheets, and reporting systems
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines
Excellent written and verbal communication
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to job sites across PEI
Diploma or certificate in Construction Management, Engineering Technology, or related field (asset)
Preferred Experience:
Experience working in residential, modular, panelized, or off-site construction
Knowledge of local building codes and permitting processes
Proficiency with estimating software or project tracking tools

Work Environment
Head Office: Office setting located in Summerside (Primary Location)
Factory: Indoor environment with exposure to tools, machinery, and equipment
On-Site: Outdoor construction sites with exposure to varying weather, dust, and noise.
