Develop, manage, and execute project work plans, schedules, and milestones; monitor and report on project delivery progress.
Assist with business development by managing industry expo and trade show preparations, coordinating exhibitions, engaging potential clients, and supporting the initiation of new projects.
Support the Quality Management team by documenting processes, procedures, and standards, and identifying and addressing any non-conformities.
Participate in regular project meetings and coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure timely and successful project execution.
Collaborate with Senior Engineers on product design reviews and perform CAD drawing updates and revisions as required.
Provide support for corporate internal ISO audits as well as external supplier qualification audits.
Required:
Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or other relevant engineering disciplines. (Please attach your transcripts and clearly indicate the duration of the work term and starting date.)
Hands-on experience with CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Fusion 360.
Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with internal teams and external project partners.
Knowledge of project management principles, including planning, scheduling, execution, and reporting.
Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin Chinese is preferred.
Expectations:
Term:
3 to 12 months, part-time or full-time, with the potential for permanent hire upon successful completion.
Schedule:
Hybrid -- a combination of in-office and work-from-home.
Location:
Primarily based in our Calgary downtown office.
Travel:
Occasional travel to customer sites may be required.
