Job Description


With the launch of our residential home building company, Seymour Pacific Homes, we are looking for a Project Coordinator to monitor construction project timelines and overall project health. The role will be an integral member of the project team responsible for organization and communication of project tasks. The Project Coordinator will also source a variety of construction-related trade contractors for each project.

Your contributions to the team:

  • Track project schedules, change orders, back charges, deficiencies, construction progress, and project close out
  • Work with all departments to ensure effective use of project documentation
  • Resolve any issues or problems that arise during the project
  • Coordinate and communicate resolution of issues which occur throughout the construction project.
  • Use project scheduling and control tools to monitor course of construction, project issues, and overall project health
  • Negotiating contracts and agreements with various parties involved in the project
  • Forecast costs for all sub trade work scopes and changes; report on these items weekly and/or monthly.
  • Define and communicate detailed description of scope of work and payment schedule. Ensures the related templates are kept current and accurate for all Sub Trade Coordinators use.
What you need to be successful:
  • Minimum 3+ years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in a residential construction project coordination role
  • Background in contract management and negotiations
  • Demonstrated success in project delivery and execution of project management methods
  • Experience in residential row house construction considered an asset
