Summary
We are seeking a Project Coordinator to join our dynamic team at Darmac Framing Systems. In this role, you will be instrumental in overseeing various projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget. Your contributions will directly impact our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
As the Project Coordinator at Darmac Framing Systems you are responsible for providing coordination and administrative support by:
The Opportunity
Scheduling and reporting status of all design deliverables and maintenance of Production Schedule on SmartSheet
Monitoring all requests for design deliverables (design inbox) and maintenance schedule of each in the Production Schedule through Design Phase.
Setting up Design Folder - from quote stage through to orders (soft copy and hard copy as required)
Reviewing material inventory status weekly and work with other stakeholders to place orders could potentially place orders
Develop RFP's for material purchases, tender analysis
Coordinating shipments to site as per production schedule
Managing customer portals and coordinating back charges, warranty work etc. with site and accounting
What you bring
A post-secondary diploma or degree in Administration, Coordination, Purchasing or Computer Applications would be considered an asset. Previous experience in residential construction in an administrative role, with a heavy inclination towards planning, scheduling and document organization.
Advanced MS Office skills in Excel (particularly formulas & Macros), Word (i.e. mail merge) and Outlook, with above-average speed. SmartSheet software knowledge is a de?nite asset.
Strong data entry keyboarding skills.
Excellent written and oral communication skills, particularly in understanding/resolving problems.
Strong work ethic with ability to work independently, be ?exible, prioritize workloads, meet deadlines and work well under pressure.
Detail Oriented, extremely well-organized with strong analytical skills.
Ability to build and maintain relationships internally and externally and thrive in a collaborative team environment.
Open minded and a forward thinker with a desire to learn and take on new opportunities.
Other duties as required.
Bonus points
Experience with IntelliVIEW or Alpine Software
Strong research skills with an aptitude towards math.
Exposure to or understanding of architectural drawings.
Experience with estimating material quantities
