About the Role
We're looking for a
Project Coordinator
to join our team. This is a client-facing role that blends
interior design sensibility
with strong
administrative and coordination skills
. You'll support clients with product selections and pricing, prepare and manage project documents, track materials, and coordinate schedules with production.
Your mission: keep projects organized, clients informed, and the path from sales handoff to project completion running smoothly.
What You'll Do
Guide clients through
product selections
(finishes, fixtures, materials) and ensure decisions are clearly documented.
Support pricing by gathering supplier quotes and maintaining accurate product cost information.
Prepare and manage
project documentation
-- selections sheets, scopes of work, change orders, and permits.
Act as the
primary client contact
once the project is sold, providing updates, setting expectations, and ensuring a positive experience.
Coordinate with the
production team
to align schedules, materials, and site readiness.
Manage
materials ordering and tracking
, ensuring timely delivery and accuracy.
Maintain and enforce the use of
project checklists, quality control lists, and punchlists
through to project completion.
Assist in the showroom as needed, supporting clients in making design and product choices.
What We're Looking For
Diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architectural Technology, or related field
(or equivalent experience in design and construction administration).
3+ years of experience
in residential construction, renovations, or design coordination.
Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable juggling multiple projects at once.
Strong communication and client-service skills -- you keep people informed and on track.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel/Word) and familiarity with project management or construction software (JobTread experience an asset).
Knowledge of residential construction processes and materials.
