PROJECT COORDINATOR



Downs McGovern is a general contractor based in Montreal, performing work throughout Canada and the United States. We are currently looking for a Construction Coordinator.

SUMMARY



Under the responsibility of the Director of Operations and in collaboration with colleagues in his/her department, the coordinator will be required to carry out various support, monitoring and coordination activities.

FUNCTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES



Manage technical documents (technical sheets and shop drawings, list of stakeholders, distribution of plans and specifications, management of RFI, close-out document);

Ensure the administrative management of the project (issuance of contracts and purchase orders, monitoring of control tables, management of directives and changes orders);

Prepare progress reports;

Assistance and coordination related to projects;

Any other related tasks as required;

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE



Minimum 2 years

of experience in the construction field.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED



Excellent organizational and planning skills;

Methodology acquired;

Strong written and verbal communication skills in French and English (mandatory);

Excellent command of computer tools such as Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook);

Excellent organizational skills, time management, priority management and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously;

Be dynamic, versatile and enthusiastic;

Be rigorous and precise;

Ability to work independently while being an effective member of the team;

Ability to solve problems and find solutions;

Be professional and have a very good work ethic;

DES - General

DEP - Administration / Accounting

Any other combination of education and experience relevant to the position.

Pay: $40,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
