In an effort to continue the support of our customers' needs, we are seeking an experienced, dedicated individual for the role of Project Coordinator.
The Project Coordinator will assist our team in managing projects involving hollow metal and wood doors, detention doors, finish and detention hardware, and specialty items.
If you are an innovative, well-organized and self-motivated person, interested in learning new things and able to work independently, we'd love to hear from you! In the Project Coordinator role, your responsibilities will include:
Assisting the project managers with administrative tasks
Assisting field sales staff with estimating and the preparation of quotations
Follow-up and tracking of quotations
Responding to customer inquiries
Preparation of submittal information and tracking their progress through the approval process
Accurately detailing and scheduling materials to be ordered
Tracking project and order costing
Participating in project meetings
Attending project sites to ensure the compliance of materials and installation with project documents and approved submittals
Maintaining accurate inventory counts
Being highly organized and detail-oriented, multi-tasking, prioritizing, and meeting deadlines.
Additional skills that you possess:
You have a fantastic ability to communicate in English (French is also an asset)
You're an AHC, DHT, DHC or are on your way to becoming one
You can figure out how to use almost any software
You can work with AutoCAD, and/or industry-based software
You can read blueprints and manufacturing drawings
You've been trained in WHMIS, Worker Health and Safety Awareness, Working at Heights, etc.
You have a clean driving record
A police background check will be required for employment. Additional municipal, federal and provincial background checks will be required to work on specific projects, including Gov't of Canada Level II Secret Status (Level III Top Secret may be required)
