Job Summary


Reporting to Project Management/Construction Manager, the Project Management Coordinator will be responsible for planning and overseeing the end-to-end delivery of assigned projects, typically of low complexity, risk and exposure, with the defined scope, schedule and budget, as well as LCD Mechanical Inc and client procedural boundaries. The Project Management Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the successful planning, execution, and delivery of projects. This position is responsible for assisting project manager(s) in coordinating tasks, maintaining project documentation, tracking progress, and ensuring effective communication between team members, stakeholders, and external partners.The Project Management Coordinator works with and/or direct technical and professional staff, consultants and contractors, and draws on his/her strengths in communication, reporting, stakeholder coordination and fiscal control to ensure client-satisfaction, employee satisfaction and, ultimately, financial success.

Duties



Assist in the development and maintenance of project plans & schedules Plans and oversees the end-to-end delivery of assigned projects. At this level, projects managed are typically of low complexity, risk and exposure. In collaboration with project stakeholders, defines project scope, deliverables and requirements. Develops and implements project plans. Determines resource and budget requirements, cost estimates, and timelines. Identifies project risks and develops and implements mitigation and contingency plans. Track deliverables and deadlines, escalating issues to the project manager as needed.Oversees the activities of the project and monitors project task completion. Support communication between internal teams, clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders. Ensures projects are delivered on time, within scope, budget and requirements, and complies with all regulatory, environmental and health and safety requirements. Maintain project management tools, databases, and filing systems. Schedule and coordinate project meetings, including preparing agendas and recording minutes.

Requirements



Community college diploma preferably in construction technology, mechanical/engineering technology, project management or equivalent work experience
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.

Team player with a collaborative mindset.

High level of professionalism and confidentiality.

2 (+) years of project coordination work experience Ability to deliver projects on-time, on-budget, within specifications, and in-compliant with all requirements including but not limited to regulatory, environmental, health, and safety requirements. Ability to develop and manage project budget Ability to mitigate and manage project risks (i.e. Liquidated Damages (LD*)
Ability to influence, persuade and negotiate to achieve desired outcomes Advanced communication and interpersonal skills Ability to develop and maintain relationships with project stakeholders Ability to manage client relationships and expectations A high degree of client service orientation Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities Ability to manage vendor relationships and performance Possesses a continuous improvement and quality mindset along with a desire to continuously seek and incorporate best practices and technologies to optimize project delivery and deliver value to the client Computer proficiency in MS Office applications in particular - MS Project, MS Excel, MS Outlook, along with ability to quickly learn new applications Advanced written and spoken ability in English Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and project management software (MS Project, Jonas, or similar) Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.

Licences and/or Professional



Project Management Institute Accreditation or in progress. LEED certification; in progress.

Special Requirements:



Must be able to work flexible and extended hours as required.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:



Fast-paced environment; Attention to detail; Tight deadlines; Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Office-based with occasional site or client visits, depending on project needs.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
