Project Coordinator
. We are a fast-growing construction management and general contracting firm specializing in institutional, commercial, multi-residential, high end residential and industrial projects across Southwestern Ontario. Our team is hands-on, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering high-quality builds with strong communication, accountability, and teamwork.
Position Overview
The
Project Coordinator
will support Project Managers and Site Supervisors in the planning, documentation, procurement, and coordination of construction projects from start to finish. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with preparing, issuing, and tracking RFIs, RFQs, Change Orders, SI/CCNs, and meeting minutes
Coordinate submittals and shop drawings, ensuring timely review and distribution
Maintain project documentation, schedules, and logs (Drawings, Specifications, Submittal Log, RFI Log, Site Instructions, etc.)
Support procurement activities, including issuing purchase orders and coordinating deliveries
Track progress against project schedules and follow up with consultants and subtrades
Assist with budgeting, cost control, and monthly progress draws
Help maintain health & safety documentation and compliance
Perform site visits as required to support coordination and verify installations
Support closeout requirements (O&M manuals, as-built drawings, deficiency lists, warranty submissions)
Qualifications
Post-secondary education in Construction Engineering Technology, Architectural Technology, Project Management, or related field
1-3 years of experience in construction or project coordination (co-op experience considered)
Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and building systems
Proficient with Microsoft Office and Bluebeam
Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management skills
Ability to prioritize tasks and handle competing deadlines
Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites when required
