Project Coordinator
To give a clear overview of the duties and responsibilities of key positions within our company structure.
Reporting to the Sr. Project Manager is part of a team of construction professionals. This position is responsible for overall administrative support of one or more projects.
Assists with the day-to-day management of construction projects
Assists with pre-job planning meetings and subcontractor proposal reviews
Organization of project paperwork
Communicate with sub-trades
Ensures job start documents are complete
Co-operates fully with the Project Superintendent and site staff
Distributes, logs, and reviews shop drawings
Processing of change orders and purchase orders
Assists with cost controls and schedule
Assists with requests for information
Adopts, supports and implements the DG Health and Safety Program and ensures it is part of trade meetings
Completes end of job documents
3 or more years institutional construction experience
Degree/diploma in Engineering or Construction Management or equivalent combination of technical training and/or related experience
Proficiency in MS Office, specifically Excel and Word, and MS Project
Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations for Construction
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
