Be a part of the MPN Electrical team as a Project Coordinator Intern to gain practical skills from May to September 2024. Are you detail orientated, a self starter who thrives working in a fast-paced environment.MPN Electrical is a well established and rapidly growing electrical company working on residential and commercial construction projects in Calgary and BC Lower Mainland.Your contribution to our team will include, but not be limited to:

• Analyze and validate construction project drawings and take-offs.
• Change order management and tracking, including negotiating costs and schedule impacts
• Keep a close eye on project schedule, progress and budgets
• Prepare RFI\xe2\x80\x99s
• Mark-up drawing with As-builts changes
• Job Tracking, and cost analysis
• Client communication
• CRM Management and data entry
• General administration, Project documentation control functions, including preparing and maintaining correspondence, spreadsheets and related documentation.
• Completed 3rd or 4th Year BSc Engineering or SAIT BSc or Diploma in Construction Project Management or Construction Technology
• 1-2 years Construction Project Coordination experience
• Thorough understanding of construction process, practices, and blue prints
• Electrical background or knowledge is an asset
• Experience with AutoCAD, Blue Beam etc would be an asset
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent documentation Skills
• Strong computer skills, esp MS Excel
• Comfortable working independently with minimal direction
• Have an eye for detail
