Job Description

Boundary Electric is seeking a highly organized and proactive Project Coordinator to join our team!!



The Project Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of projects from inception to completion. The primary focus of this role is to support the project team in procuring materials, communicating with vendors and customers, and monitoring project progress to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:



Purchase Order Management:

o Liaise with vendors to confirm order details and ensure timely delivery.

o Monitor order status and proactively address any delays or discrepancies to minimize project disruptions.

Vendor Communication:

o Maintain regular communication with vendors to follow up on pending orders, provide shipment updates, and contribute to resolving any issues or concerns.

o Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors to facilitate smooth transactions and foster long-term partnerships.

Project Coordination:

o Work closely with cross-functional teams to coordinate project timelines, milestones, and deliverables.

o Track project progress, identify potential risks or delays, and assist with planning corrective actions as needed to keep projects on track.

o Serve as a point of contact for internal teams and external stakeholders, providing regular updates and addressing inquiries or concerns promptly.

Data Entry and Documentation:

o Accurately enter project-related data into the system to maintain comprehensive records and documentation.

o Ensure that all project documentation is up-to-date, organized, and easily accessible for reference and reporting purposes.

Client Communication:

o Act as a liaison between Boundary Electric and our clients, providing timely updates on project status, addressing inquiries, and assisting in resolving any issues or concerns that may arise.

o Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service in all interactions with clients to ensure their satisfaction and loyalty.

Process Improvement:

o Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency enhancement within the project coordination workflow.

o Proactively contribute ideas and suggestions to streamline processes, improve productivity, and enhance overall project management effectiveness.

Ad Hoc Responsibilities:

o Assist with other administrative tasks and special projects assigned by management.

o Adapt to changing priorities and deadlines as business needs evolve, demonstrating flexibility and willingness to take on new challenges.

Qualifications:



A minimum of 3 years of experience in project management, preferably in the electrical production and manufacturing industry.

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, current enrollment in a PMP program, or other Project Management course work is required.

Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.

Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

Willingness and ability to travel internationally on a frequent basis, especially to Asia.

Proficiency in Mandarin is required to support international collaboration.

Strong level of oral and written communication and word processing skills.

Ability to work under pressure and show initiative.
