Overview of Position:



Position is located in Beausejour, MB R0E 0C0



The Project Coordinator will be responsible for the Bison Modular projects and will work under the guidance and direction of the Project Managers. The Project Coordinator is expected to develop project-specific strategies to run the Bison housing projects from start to finish based on parameters provided by Project Managers and Shareholders. The Project Coordinator is required to be an independent self-starter and will monitor the critical path of the projects that s/he is assigned and report when conflicts or other delays occur.

This requires the construction of a model of the project that includes: a list of all activities required to complete the project the time; the dependencies between the activities; the resources assigned to the activities; and logical end points such as milestones or deliverable items. The Project Coordinator will suggest and implement contingency plans for ensuring that the project remains on track or continues to progress within revised timeframes.

Key Responsibilities:



Project Management and project schedule and support

(for own projects and other project managers), coordinating, drafting & issuing project proposals, RFP's, budgets, cashflows, preliminary schedules, presentations, and centralize documentation.

Respond to stakeholders

, prepare project status reports, monitor issues and risks associated with targets and milestones, manage and mitigate risk.

Project Monitoring

- Monitor and manage the projects critical path, including the scheduling and completion of specific deliverables and assist the Project Managers.

Implementation of Project Management

- Facilitate the adoption of project Policies and Procedures. Management principles and best practices by acting as a reference point and technical assistant for staff.

Project Coordination

- Assists Project Managers with the scheduling of meetings, workshops, and other activities both internal and external.

Preferred Qualifications:



Must have related experience in Project Coordination for General Contracting Undergraduate degree in Engineering CET or related field, and 2- 3 years' experience as a Project Coordinator or similar position (Project Analyst, Project Administrator) or other qualifying related experience, or the equivalent combination of education and experience; Or experienced red seal tradesperson with business and computer knowledge. Project Management Professional (PMP) designation or, at a minimum, Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) General knowledge of Project Management principles and methodology, especially those considered best practices under the Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) Experience with document management solutions like MS SharePoint Post-undergraduate diplomas or certificates in Project Management are an asset.

Ability to: gather, analyze, and organize data, define problems and requirements, and recommend solutions Proven ability to work effectively both independently and in a team-based environment. Experience with Microsoft Project, Dynamics and similar project management tools, and Microsoft Office Experience with solution development and delivery lifecycle Strong problem solving, multi-tasking and organizational skills Excellent communication skills, including verbal, written and presentation Excellent conflict resolution and negotiation skills Willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $50,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
