Position Overview
As a Project Coordinator working on-site at customer facilities, you will support the Project Manager and site teams by facilitating communication, tracking project progress, and ensuring tasks move forward on schedule. This role bridges the office and the field, assisting with scheduling, subcontractor coordination, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation. You will help maintain project timelines, support procurement activities, and provide follow-up on action items to ensure smooth and efficient project execution. You will play an active role in keeping all stakeholders aligned throughout the construction lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Cost Tracking & Financial Accuracy
Collaborate with the AWLP site leadership to oversee job activities and milestones.
Coordinate logistics, crew, equipment and materials.
Monitor project progress and prepare reports.
Support site mobilization, demobilization and setup.
Ensure all labor, equipment, materials, and subcontractor costs are captured accurately and tracked daily.
Validate field coding, work scopes, and billable details
Obtain and verify client approvals/signoffs for T&M work, extra work, or scope additions.
Communicate cost impacts, productivity issues, and potential overruns to the Project Manager in real time.
Work closely with accounting to resolve discrepancies quickly.
Ensure supporting documentation (timesheets, equipment logs, delivery slips, receipts, subcontractor invoices, field tickets) is complete and audit ready.
Supports cost summaries and reports.
Helps monitor budgets, timelines, and project milestones.
Customer & Stakeholder Communication
Serve as an on-site representative of AWLP.
Attend safety orientations, client meetings and briefings, as needed.
Provide timely updates to AWLP internal teams.
Field Operations & Support
Support field crews by ensuring tools and materials are available.
Assist quality control to verify work meets standards.
Coordinate industrial site tasks such as material handling and site services.
Coordinates schedules between trades, subcontractors, inspectors, and suppliers.
Helps track progress and ensure tasks are completed on time.

Qualifications
Diploma or degree in a relevant field preferred.
2-4 years of experience in industrial services or coordination.
Experience in heavy industrial, oil & gas or petrochemical environments is an asset.
Skills & Competencies
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital reporting tools.
Other Requirements
Valid driver's license and ability to travel.
Ability to work extended hours during peak periods.
