Job description

SCI has an immediate opening for a Project Coordinator to assist our team with fulfulling our clients needs. In this role, the Project Coordinator will be supporting the Project Manager and Operations Manager to ensure work is completed in a safe, timely and efficient manner.

This position is to be filled by a local resident (current or relocating). There is no travel allowance, living out allowance, or relocation allowance.

Skills required

:

reviewing drawings and specifications to assist with project planning, procurement and scheduling generating and processing required client submittals such as Requests for Information and Transmitals generating and updating project schedules leading procurement and logistics requirements for project execution participating in client meetings verification of time sheets and invoices sourcing equipment, materials and vendors coordinating subcontractors coordinating equipment maintenance ensuring safety program requirements are being met, documented and filed/submitted ensuring quality control requirements are being met, documented and filed/submitted other tasks and duties as assigned to support other business activities as required

Requirements:

CSTS Class 5 Drivers Licence & Drivers Abstract (3yr) Clean Drug and Alcohol test Minimum 3 years construction industry experience Proficient with computers and construction industry software: Microsoft / Google docs, gantt chart scheduling software Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and oral communication skills Post secondary education at college or trades level

Work Schedule:

Mon-Fri 8 hrs per day Flexible to work extended work week hours and weekends as project needs arise
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00-$50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
