Note:

This position is an intermediate level role, and will be based out of our Manufacturing Office in Etobicoke, ON. As you gain experience, there will be opportunities to grow into a Senior Project Coordinator or Project Manager role, advancing your career within our company.

As Our Project Coordinator, here's what you'll be executing:



Project Documentation & Execution:

Handle all documentation for the successful execution of soil management projects, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and compliance with environmental standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Project Progress Monitoring:

Monitor the progress of projects and assist the Project Manager with timelines, budgets, and profitability, ensuring key milestones are met and the projects are on track for success.

Client & Supplier Coordination:

Act as a liaison between general contractors, suppliers, and internal teams, ensuring smooth communication and effective collaboration. Escalate any issues to the Project Manager promptly.

Billing & Invoicing:

Prepare invoices and progress billing reports efficiently, flagging any issues related to collectability and escalating them as needed to maintain project cash flow.

Process Improvement:

Continuously seek out opportunities to streamline workflows, improve processes, and enhance efficiency within your role and across the company.

Customer & Co-worker Support:

Respond quickly to co-workers and customers, providing timely updates on project status and addressing any delays, while ensuring that work quality consistently meets high standards.

Collaboration & Team Support:

Work closely with cross-functional teams, providing additional support when necessary to ensure the success of your team and the overall project.

What You Bring to the Table:



Project Management Experience:

At least one year of project management experience (experience in environment, soil management, or sustainable projects is a bonus).

Post-secondary Education:

A background in Project Management, Environmental Sciences, or a related field is highly desirable.

Organizational Skills:

Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring that all deadlines and quality standards are consistently met.

Communication Proficiency:

Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills for collaborating effectively with internal teams, contractors, suppliers, and clients.

Software Proficiency:

Familiarity with office software like Outlook, Word, and Excel; experience with project management tools or software is a plus.

Team Collaboration:

A team player who is always willing to step in and offer support to your colleagues when needed.

Attention to Quality:

A commitment to delivering high-quality work that adheres to Sonic Soil's standards and values.

Problem-Solving Mindset:

A proactive approach to resolving challenges and obstacles, ensuring the smooth execution of projects.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Haves):



Environmental or Soil Management Experience:

Previous experience in environmental project coordination, soil health, or land restoration projects is a significant advantage.
