The Organization:



A.E.W. LP was formed in 2017 by Nlaka'pamux Nation Tribal Council member communities to carry out "on the ground" work related to archaeology, the environment and wildlife protection. This work has been made necessary by activities of others within the Nlaka'pamux homeland including transportation, mining, forestry, oil and gas, and utilities projects. The Nlaka'pamux Nation Tribal Council is not opposed to development within our homeland, but developments and activities must be consistent with Nlaka'pamux title and rights.

Annual salary range of $50,000 - $70,000 Matching Group Retirement Pension (1%-6%) Extended Health and Dental Benefits Paid vacation plus approximately 5 additional paid days during the holiday season

The Role:



A.E.W. Limited Partnership (A.E.W. LP) is seeking a full-time on going Project Coordinator - Environment & Wildlife The role provides essential project coordination support to the Environment & Wildlife Departments by assisting project managers with scheduling, communication, and field crew logistics. The position contributes to high-quality project delivery through QA/QC review of reports and data, maintaining document version control, and supporting the development and administration of environmental mitigation and monitoring plans:

Support the Environment & Wildlife departments and project managers with project coordination, scheduling, and communication with field crews. Perform QA/QC checks on reports, data tables, and figures. Maintain version control for documents and deliverables. Track and report on the implementation and progress of project plans. Participate in field programs and site visits as required. Help prepare project cost estimates, progress reports, and high-level schedules for project delivery and resource planning. Provide project status updates through internal tracking systems and assist with monthly project status reporting. Contribute to creating and implementing guidelines and documentation that support workflow processes. Take part in health and safety initiatives and follow all established policies and procedures; report any hazards, risks, or incidents to management. Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers throughout project execution. Review team resourcing needs and make adjustments as necessary. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:



B.Sc. in biology or related field is preferred 2-3 years experience in a Project Coordinator role, Junior Biologist, or similar role. Possess a current and valid Canadian Driver's License.
