Position Overview
Bilt by Jaffer is seeking a Project Coordinator to support residential and commercial projects in the Edmonton region. We have several active commercial developments and a residential project ready to launch with the right candidate.
We're looking for a driven, organized, savvy individual with an entrepreneurial mindset--someone who wants to gain meaningful project experience and grow their career as our business continues to scale.
In this role, you will support multiple project managers and executives, assisting with planning, scheduling, costing, permitting, and ensuring high-quality execution from project initiation through completion. You will also play an important part in coordinating Bilt by Jaffer's health & safety reporting requirements.

Responsibilities
Assist project managers, site supervisors, and foremen as needed.
Help ensure projects remain on schedule, on budget, and aligned with quality expectations.
Contribute to Bilt by Jaffer's safety-first culture by coordinating health & safety documentation and reporting.
Manage and track project information.
Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to support site teams in executing work efficiently.
Collect, review, and organize subcontractor bids; provide cost estimates to leadership.
Oversee permitting processes and act as the company liaison with municipalities.
Support construction planning, scheduling, and documentation throughout all project phases.
Skills, Qualifications & Requirements
1-2 years of project coordination experience (or equivalent practical experience).
Post-secondary education in construction technology, project management, or related technical fields.
Strong time-management and communication skills.
Demonstrated experience supporting Health & Safety processes.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and project management software.
Comfortable coordinating multiple tasks, stakeholders, and timelines simultaneously.
Lines of Communication
Reports primarily to the
Project Manager
, with dotted-line reporting to additional project managers and the Business Unit Leader depending on project load.
Working Conditions
Combination of office work and outdoor on-site work across all seasons.
Standard 40-hour work week (with flexibility based on project demands).

Physical Requirements
This role requires a mix of office and site-based physical activity, including:
Standing, walking, and climbing stairs/ladders
