, you'll be at the heart of our field and office operations, supporting projects from first planning meeting to final report. This is a technical, fast-moving role that blends strong organization with a solid understanding our internal procedures.
As part of the Project Management Team, you'll report to the Director of Operations and work closely with Senior Archaeologists, field crews, lab staff, and administrative teammates to keep projects running smoothly.
What You'll Do
Be the go-to support for projects in every phase--coordinating tasks, setting priorities, and keeping work on schedule.
Organize and participate in regular and ad-hoc meetings with stakeholders, clients, and vendors;
Track action items, milestones, and outcomes to ensure nothing falls through the cracks.
Manage project scheduling, logistics, and notifications for stakeholders and team members.
Troubleshoot day-to-day issues, escalating when needed to keep projects on course.
Keep stakeholder trackers and internal databases accurate and up to date.
Exercise good judgment to balance competing priorities and see tasks through to completion.
What You Bring
Proven project coordination experience.
A knack for juggling multiple tasks while staying organized and detail-oriented.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills,
Ability to exercise a high level of tact, diplomacy and discretion in developing and maintaining collaborations with team members, clients, industry and community leaders.
Comfort handling sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
Knowledge of BC archaeology regulations, the Heritage Conservation Act, or Cultural Resource Management practices is a strong asset.
Experience collaborating with First Nations is an advantage.
