Job Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Construction Project Manager to oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a solid understanding of construction processes, and the ability to effectively communicate with various stakeholders. This role is crucial in ensuring that projects are completed on time, within scope, and in accordance with quality standards.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage all phases of construction projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to develop project plans and specifications. Review and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project documentation to ensure compliance with design specifications. Utilize construction management software such as ProCore and HeavyBid for project tracking and reporting. Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, address issues, and ensure safety protocols are followed. Prepare construction estimates and manage project budgets effectively. Facilitate communication between all parties involved in the project, including clients, contractors, and suppliers. Implement time management strategies to optimize workflow and productivity on-site.

Skills

Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., ProCore, HeavyBid) is essential. Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics accurately. Familiarity with Civil 3D for design purposes is a plus. Experience with construction estimating techniques to prepare accurate budgets. Proven project management skills with the ability to lead teams successfully. Knowledge of Bluebeam for document management and collaboration is beneficial.
